A Fresh, Welcoming Space Downtown Sandusky is being revitalized. In the fall of 2017, work began on the new City Hall at the corner of East Washington Row and Columbus Avenue. New restaurants, businesses, the regional visitor center, and other investments in several downtown structures will bring more people and activity to the heart of the city. Witha$400,000grantfromtheDornFoundation and support from many friends and donors, the Erie County Community Foundation has joined thatrevitalizationeffort.Theexistingaddresswill housefullyrenovatedofficespacethatwillbethe Foundation’s permanent home, and a focal point for Erie County non-profits, with community meeting space, and affordable office environ- mentsforseveralothernon-profitorganizations. It is a clear sign of the Foundation’s coming of age in its 23rd year when, during 2018, we will begintohostourdonors,ourvolunteersandthe entire non-profit and philanthropic community in our new space. It will also be another invest- mentinSandusky’srevitalization. 8
